Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards of a value less than 10 are worth their printed number while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply symbolize the two hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for every hand will be the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven and five produces a score of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the following guidelines:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of eight or nine, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has five or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay at 19 to twenty (even odds minus a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie customarily pay eight to 1 but occasionally 9 to one. (This is an awful bet as ties will happen lower than 1 every ten hands. Definitely don’t try wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – 9 to one vs. 8 to 1)

When done accurately, baccarat provides relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is surely not an indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of previous results on a chart is a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most commonly used and possibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-2-six method. This method is employed to boost winnings and limiting risk.

commence by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a sum of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
