Baccarat Banque Policies

Punto banco is bet on with 8 decks of cards in a dealer’s shoe. Cards below 10 are worth face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then dealt to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, however the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a total of one (5 plus six equals 11; drop the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt using the rules below:

- If the player or bank has a score of eight or nine, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the house takes a card on a total less than 5. If the gambler hits, a table is used to figure out if the house stands or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The bigger of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal money less a five percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you quit the game so make sure you still have cash around just before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays 1:1. Winning bets for a tie usually pays out at 8:1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a bad wager as ties happen less than 1 in every ten hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. eight to one)

Wagered on properly punto banco gives generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events yet to happen. Keeping track of past results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most common and probably the most acknowledged course of action is the one, three, two, six plan. This plan is deployed to pump up profits and limit losses.

Start by placing one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. Should you win you will have six on the game table, pull off four so you are left with 2 on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the 3rd bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum total of 6 on the fourth round.

If you don’t win on the first round, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a loss on the second causes a hit of 2. Success on the initial 2 with a loss on the third provides you with a profit of 2. And success on the 1st 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Succeeding at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you are able to lose the second round five instances for every favorable streak of 4 rounds and in the end, balance the books.
