Baccarat Banque Codes
Punto banco is played with eight decks in a shoe. Cards below ten are worth their printed number while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘house’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, although the first number is dropped. e.g., a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (five plus six equals eleven; dump the first ‘one’).
A third card will be given out based on the following rules:
- If the player or bank achieves a score of eight or nine, the two players stand.
- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player stays, the bank takes a card on a total lower than 5. If the player takes a card, a table is used to decide if the bank stands or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The higher of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19:20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission are recorded and cleared out when you quit the game so be sure to have money left just before you depart). Winning bets on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for tie usually pay 8:1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Avoid putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus 8 to 1)
Gambled on correctly punto banco provides relatively good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Scheme
As with all games punto banco has a handful of common myths. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a prophecy of events about to happen. Keeping score of past results on a sheet of paper is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and probably the most acknowledged course of action is the one, three, two, six plan. This method is employed to pump up profits and minimizing losses.
Begin by wagering one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you keep two on the third wager. Should you succeed on the third bet, put down 2 to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth round.
Should you do not win on the initial round, you take a hit of 1. A profit on the first bet followed by a loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And success on the first three with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all 4 rounds gives you with 12, a profit of ten. This means you will be able to lose the second bet five times for every successful run of four bets and in the end, are even.
