Punto Banco Regulations

Baccarat banque is played with eight decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed number while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum of the two cards, however the beginning digit is discarded. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of one (5 plus six equals 11; drop the first ‘1′).

A third card could be given out using the following rules:

- If the gambler or banker achieves a value of eight or nine, the two players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the bank hits on a total lower than 5. If the player hits, a guide is employed to see if the banker stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house pay out 19:20 (equal money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off once you depart the game so ensure you have money remaining just before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9:1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than one in every 10 hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9 to 1 vs. 8:1)

Wagered on properly baccarat provides generally good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Method

As with all games Baccarat has a few common myths. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most common and almost certainly the most accomplished plan is the one-three-two-six tactic. This technique is used to build up earnings and limit losses.

Begin by wagering one chip. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will hold six on the game table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd round, put down two to the 4 on the table for a total of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the initial bet followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Success on the first two with a hit on the 3rd provides you with a gain of 2. And success on the 1st three with a hit on the fourth means you experience no loss. Winning all four rounds gives you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd round five instances for every favorable run of four rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
